Dérivé du concept balMODERNSOUNDsystem, Patrick Balzat & The Letors permet l’ajout d’une vocaliste, Sarah Letor (Gospel de Paris , Ella & Louis, etc) au concept déjà existant comprenant le saxophoniste Hervé Letor et le percussionniste Don Olivero .
Ce cover-band des temps modernes fonctionne avec une réelle préparation de studio où les titres en vogue (Lykkie Li « I Follow divers » , Adèle « Rolling in the deep », David Guetta & Kelly Rowlands « When love takes over » etc) sont recréés pour laisser la place aux deux musiciens et à la merveilleuse voix de Sarah …

Chanteuse professionnelle, Sarah a un beau  palmarès a son actif: un album sorti en 2009 dans les bacs et un autre en fabrication, elle est également soliste du célèbre choeur gospel de Paris …

Sarah Letor s’accompagne au piano et chante des standards pop et jazz avec des touches de blues, de soul et même gospel, d’une voix imprégnée dans un cadre sophistiqué, son groove est soulful, son style parfois un peu latin comme une de ses idoles Stevie Wonder.

En compagnie de son talentueux mari Hervé Letor(Musicen des Restos du coeur, ou de The Voice) , ils forment des ensembles flexibles selon l’événement: Duo, trio (avec contrebasse) et quartet.

Patrick Balzat has been a familiar face on the Belgian house scene for almost 20 years now and has kept himself so busy that he has achieved already an impressive ride in the world of music and clubbing.

Regular outings to underground Belgian house clubs finally persuaded Pat to take his own place behind the turntables in 92.

It was also during this time that he cultivated his powerful funky sound as resident DJ, finding himself in a prime position to take advantage of accessing the most upfront house clubs in Belgium such as Fuse, Who’s Who’s Land, Cafe Local, Mirano and the Strong parties in Antwerp, Brussels and Paris.

Since 1999, he focused mainly on the critically acclaimed balModernSoundsystem live sessions, a collective live project based on the warm interaction between jazz musicians and dj’s initiated by Olivier Galand (aka Don Olivero) and himself.

His sets nowadays provide a happy and refined definition of cutting edge international club music echoing various musical styles fusing House, Electro, Soul, Funk, Disco and Jazz music always developing a highly joyful and communicating vibe throughout his performances.

Pat is also a producer for more than 10 years with success like « Ain’t no mountain high enough » with the singer Jay Sebaz , he is also behind the pseudo « Sidran », « The proviberz » & « Urban Pleasure Seekers » … he made also the famous remix of « Promised land » for the famous singer JD Davis !
He prepare a lot of new productions in House, Deep House & Neo Disco style for the next weeks !

BalMODERNSOUNDsystem (Eclectique)

Le balMODERNSOUNDsystem ™ , est né de la rencontre d’un DJ et de musiciens de Jazz …

Un concept dont l’efficacité n’est plus à démontrer, tant en club, qu’en événementiel et au-delà! !Des musiciens renommés et déchaînés agissant en inter-action avec un DJ remixant les tubes et les classiques en live&direct !

Un show unique et adaptable à tout registre musical , ainsi qu’aux différentes configurations, puisqu’à géométrie variable. La force de ce concept est de garantir une piste de danse remplie, quel que soit l’âge , le public ou le lieu !

Le DJ et co-fondateur du projet, Patrick Balzat, est également le sélectionneur des compilations « Crobar » , « Belga Queen », « Apéro 2010» dans un registre plus lounge&down tempo. Mais aussi producteur de titres joués en radio ou club comme « Ain’t no mountain high enough » ou « Promised land », repris sur la compil’ du Festival de Cannes en 2010 par la fameux Stéphane Pompougnac !

Ce large spectre musical permet à cette formation d’assurer des ambiances soft ou lounge dans un style proche de St Germain ou de garantir une piste de danse toujours remplie !

Après plusieurs singles, clips et un album ensemble , ils préparent leur nouveau single en attendant que l album solo de Jay soit finalisé ….

Jay fût également la voix de Michael Jackson lors de la soirée de lancement officielle du film « This is it » , et est sur scène aux côtés de Pat , à la fois la voix de MJ , mais aussi de  paquets d’artistes des hits 90′s  qu’il peut reprendre sans efforts …

Elle est également rentré dans le monde des dj’s en posant ses voix sur deux productions de Patrick Balzat présentes sur quelques compilations, et participe à certains de ses shows où elle chante tant du Kelly Rowlands que du Martin Solveig ou du Show me love !

En duo avec son compagnon ou son band, il n’y a plus de limites , elle peut TOUT faire !
